Catholics believe with every mass that Christ is sacrificed afresh. The literal body of Christ is present in the church, paraded around then locked up to be paraded around again.

There are special napkins for wiping up Christs blood every mass.

If that doesn't scream lunacy I don't know what does. Catholics are straight up wish-casting Vampires.

You can form more arguments if you know the subject matter (hypothetical answer not my personal opinion)

I don't really have a horse in this race it was just something I observed that made me want to learn more about the bible.

None of the Protestant denominations of today existed before the Protestant Reformation of the 1500’s. Every Christian in Western Europe was either a Catholic or a heretic before that. It just wasn’t called Catholic at that time because there was no need for a distinction.

They started printing the Bible and realized you don't need to hand your priest a $20 bill to forgive sins.

Like I said Protestants typically believe the Bible is the infallible, inspired word of God. Catholics believe in the Bible but equally in Traditions. They believe the Pope is just as infallible. So when a Pope decides that Mary was also not born in original sin, that she ascended to heaven without death, and should be prayed to... that is just as accurate as John 3:16.

Protestants also use the Bible because it clearly states "Saved by Faith through Grace" - Saved is past tense meaning you've been saved not in the process of salvation. This knee caps all of the sacraments and traditions of Catholics so they probably point to the Bible to combat the 2,000 years of added "traditions" that the Catholics add and cling to just as importantly as scripture itself.

The catholic church is about control of the people, not the word of God.

Religion has been divided since Adam. Jesus knew it and addressed it. Trust in the Lord. Follow his laws. Do not follow and trust in a man made tradition. Do not sacrifice the laws of God for the tradition of man.

There is no correct or all powerful or all good or knowing man made religion. There is only the word of God. That word is Truth. That word is Jesus. And that word was written on your soul at the dawn of time. You can choose to believe in it or not. That’s all that matters. Faith as small as a mustard seed.

A house divided against itself cannot stand. So the House of the Lord is never divided against itself.

The Kingdom of Heaven is like a field. The farmer had sewn the seeds and an enemy had sewn weeds in the same field. The farmer let both the weeds and the planted crops grow. At the end he gathered the good and fruitful crops into his barn, and the weeds he gathered and had burned.

Actually you are correct. The new covenant was Jesus and eroded Jewish law like Paul had rebuked Peter over and over again. Saved by Faith through Grace kills control of any standard religion in terms of power.

There isn't Jesus 2.0 in scripture. They believe Mary lived a SINLESS life, ascended to heaven without ever dying, born from her mother WITHOUT original sin. Then they pray to her.
