Nobody just orders a #4

People have to customize the holy hell out of it

I’ve literally driven up behind a car whose order was still on the screen at Taco Bell, they ordered a burrito supreme and literally had about 15 modifications, double this, remove this, add this… it was some crazy bullshite

It’s the same people who take ten minutes at the ATM. Are you applying for a mortgage or something?

I need cash like once or twice or month and inevitably get stuck behind someone who takes forever. I’m done in like 30 seconds

Burger King is already the slowest one out there anyway.

Just go with the flow.

Same reason some people wear cowboy hats to a graduation, knowing people will be sitting behind them and that big fricking hat will block their view. Also why some people walk around the store with their phone volume maxed out and holding their conversation on speaker.

Society is shite

I was behind someone at Popeyes that was taking forever to order. It was a man driving, the wife was pointing at the menu. The drive thru worker kept saying "Welcome back to Popeyes, may I take your order?" She legit said it like 4 times and they never answered her.

Eventually, the guy just drove off and his woman started beating the shite out of him while he's driving away.

When my wife and I lived in Breaux Bridge, she wanted Wendy's one evening. It was about 8:30 and there were five cars in line. The first one was placing their order so I called and asked her if she wanted Checkers (right next door) and she said yes. Went there and sat behind someone ordering. Finally ordered my food and when I left, that same car was still ordering at Wendy's and the same four cars behind him.

It takes me a minute to decide what I want to be disappointed with. Hate ending up at fast food places. Only on road trips.

It is always the people who point at the items on the menu sign when ordering.

Nothing like standing in line at Subway and some baw right in front of you pulls out a list for his 10 office comrades.

What exactly is so difficult/confusing/perplexing about making a fast food order?
Serious answer: They're often barely literate. What we think of as literacy is not as simple as just recognizing characters, it's also the ability to assess pieces of information.

My wife is world famous for this.

Last Sunday we pull into a McDonald’s on the way home from vacation. 1st - we talked about going there for no less than 10 miles.

Pull in and the double barrel drive through is slammed putting us 5 or so cars back.

It takes us 10 minutes or so to get to speaker - now Kiev in mind, we’ve taken the 3 kids orders and I e verbalized what I was leaning toward.

I’ll be damn if we don’t pull up and she goes…”uhhhh, what should I get?” I tell her to get the filet with a side of creamed spinach…

Thanks for the info. I haven’t had BK in 30 + years and the reason for that is dogshit food and poor customer service. Chick-fila and canes is a better experience all around.

I second this. Guys in a plumbing truck will order and GTFO. At dumps like the Black Walnut (serve alcohol, usually near an expensive gym) the XX of our species will spend 25 minutes talking in line, then get up to the front, and then start figuring out what they want. I sent me family to a table, brought a menu, and told them to tell me what they wanted. But I'd still wait 15+m to order because of the athleisure crowd.

Had this happen to me other day. I pulled up to drive-thru and the kid on the speaker said "Can you hold?" I said yes. As I was holding a dude pulled up behind me. I could see in my mirror he was getting pissed about the wait and thought it was my fault.

About 3 minutes later the dude hit reverse and pulled off all pissed giving me the evil eye.

About 2 minutes after that, the kid came back on the speaker "Sorry for your wait, go ahead and order."

So, yeah do not assume it is the fault of the guy in front of you. It is common for the damn drive thru operator to make people wait. I hate it when it happens to me because I am sure the people behind me think I am just an a-hole.
