Husky 14" chainsaw and 10" pole saw. No issues. Both have been good. They use the same battery.

Yes its real. Our newer work truck wont shift unless your seat belt is on.
What happens if the seat belt malfunctions? I just cant drive the truck
2026 F250 here. You can disable the seatbelt warning with a simple trick.
Also, FORScan allows you to change a lot of settings on the truck.

We stayed at Marriott Lexington Griffin Gate just north of downtown Lexington. Booked a tour with a small group through Central Kentucky Tours. The guide picked us up at the hotel. The tour went to Woodford, Four Roses, and ended at Buffalo Trace. The next day on the way back to Tennessee, we stopped at Maker's Mark.
The night before the tour we had a great dinner at Dudley's On Short in Lexington.
ETA: I have been to Louisville several times and not a fan. Lexington is nice.

[embed]Yep. It's a high-end, master-planned neighborhood off Crockett Road near Wilson Pike.[/embed]
I live less than a mile from there. Bunch of transplants in that neighborhood. I suspect most are from California. They all come speeding in and out of the roundabout on Crockett Road.

re: Timber Management Plan

Do you mind telling me the timber consultants names? The one I heard back from is Jonathon Boggs.
I have also been contacted by the Tennessee White Oak initiative to do a free management plan, but I think they are more interested in landowners setting up a land trust.
FYI - my property is between Parsons and I-40.

I am in a similar situation and also in TN (property in Decatur Co). I contacted Pete Moditz with the state. He said they are short on foresters and he was working 5 counties. He did provide a list of private foresters and timber consultants.
I reached out to 4 foresters and only heard back from one who was booked up. He gave me this for an estimate: average cost of an appraisal is $12-$15/forested acre and if you want a detailed plan to apply for cost share practices another 5 dollars/acre.
I can send you the list if you want to provide your email. Also, interested in what you fine out.

I wonder how many people who attend the show actually hunt. It seems more of a lifestyle thing than hunting focused.

I went. It was the same as the last few years. Crowded and the same booths.

I went with Chene, my wife picked Gator Waders, and my son bought some less expensive brand I never heard of. I can definitely tell the difference in quality, but currently not sure if it is worth the cost difference. That will take more time and seasons to see how they hold up. I will definitely rely on Chene's warranty if there are any issues.

Metropolitan Properties
They are the worst in Nashville. We had them as property managers and our HOA fired them after a year.
In this case I suspect it was Metropolitan Properties being assholes and not necessarily the HOA.

I'm south of Nashville. Thankfully we still have power. Also, have a generator and gas wood burning fireplace just in case.
Over 200k without power in the Nashville metro area.
I just went outside and it sounds like fireworks from all the trees snapping.

Thanks for the reply. I am just looking for other options.
Also, I was looking at Cajungrocer for some alligator meat. Do you have experience with that?

Live outside of Louisiana and looking for recommendations for authentic Louisiana food, ingredients, etc that can be shipped. I have ordered from Cajun Grocer, Louisiana Seafood Co, and Gourmet Boutcher. Looking for other options specifically quality live crawfish, andouille, and fresh/frozen seafood.

Looking for restaurant recommendations in St Augustine. Will be there for 3 to 4 days in the spring. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Fine dining to low key local spots.
