Why do people post such stupid things on facebook?

Some people just continually post quotes from other people like they are some sort of deep thinker. And it’s pretty much all they post. I don’t know why this bothers me so much but it does. It bother me even more than the people who just like stirring things up, at least that’s entertaining.

It’s nauseating. It’s like a never ending call for help but you can’t figure out what’s wrong because the quotes run the gambit of problems.
Also, all of these people “don’t need anybody” and at the same time always “want to know who my real friends are”

I haven't had a FB account in at least 12 years, but I used to think it was funny when people would post a quote and you could think of 1000 examples of how that quote doesn't apply to that person at all.

Yall, a car was parked next to mine when I left the CVS this morning. It was white with tinted windows. It was definitely not from around here, and the wheels were left at an angle. I was so concerned I went in and spoke to the manager who escorted me back to my car so I could leave safely.

Honestly Facebook can be pretty cool if you actively take the time to hide posts from people that annoy you and join groups.
I'm part of several salt water aqurium groups, fishing groups, some funny groups, travel location groups, etc. I don't see much BS anymore.
