2. Dumb AF
They think if they post a lot of deep quotes from philosophical people then it will send the message that they aren't really insane and you just don't understand them because they are so intellectually brilliant. These people also don't have any academic achievement to their name outside of a GED or something like that

Almost always much better than when they post their actual opinions on Facebook about things that almost no one wants to hear their opinions on.
I know multiple folks who no longer speak to a family member or former friend over a social or political Facebook opinion posted.
