Why do people kill majestic endangered species?

Not an anti hunter at all. I hunt duck and deer and love it just as much as the next guy. I just don’t understand why people hunt elephants, giraffes, snow leopards, etc.. Any people hunt these type animals and what’s so intriguing about it?

You realize that without conversation efforts by hunters they’d all be poached by now...right?

A lot of those African villages exist for game hunting. They were pissed when that dentist shot Cecil. Bad for business

I'm with you dude. I don't get it either. I'm a conservative guy who thinks our eco system will do just fine. But these people who want to kill these exotic animals in Africa or where ever, I realize have pencil dicks, are insecure, and have more money than they know what to do with. So there is a good chance that most are posters on this site.

Because they can.
It really is that simple.

Shitty countries with no money will always allow shitty things to happen to make money

Why would that be thrilling? It probably wouldn’t even be scared of you

The thrill of dropping your pants happens every night

Speaking of which.... Why is shooting a deer at a feeder you have been watching on wifi considered sporting? Its like shooting a cow

Yeah pretty sure most of the money paid to kill an animal is then used to protect/grow the rest of the herd.
ETA: I dont understand the why per say, but at least they're not poachers.

Straight from Nat Geo
Like I said, a portion is used to improve the surrounding habitat.

If you believe that but that’s a lie

I mean, I'm not naive, I know there's corruption everywhere.
But I still think paying hunters are better than poachers.

We can't even get people to quit killing people....

I have no interest in hunting African game, but the money from the 1% of the herd that is thinned protects the other 99% from being poached to extinction, and feeds/funds villages in the process. It's win-win.
