Because I rarely get sick as an adult and don’t know how to act, so I revert to childhood. I have not called in sick for over 15 years.

I let things go too long and my body just gives out. I think women are just more proactive.

I'm sick as a dog at work right now. My mom wasn't exactly the coddling type, so maybe that's why I don't whine. Who knows.

While there has been studies that show the symptoms of certain illnesses impact men more I don't believe that's it.

If my wife gets a sniffle she rests, if I get a sniffle I get back to work. I think men just try to push through until we are further along, more ill, more dehydrated, more exhausted, whatever it may be.

The motto at my house is Daddy's don't get sick days. My wife and I are both sick now, I take over the duties and do what needs to be done, which means I'm going to feel like shite for longer.

90% of the time, when a man is sick, he just ignores it, shrugs it off, tells no one, and just goes about his day. He doesn’t admit to being sick unless it’s bad enough to force him to take a step back and let someone take care of him. It’s not that men can’t function as well being sick, just that you probably wouldn’t know he was sick unless he got sick enough to no longer function.

I don't own a purse. My phone is my purse. Not all women are drama queens, who carry a pharmacy with them.

It's not the case in my house. My wife has the sniffles and a sore throat and is laid up for days. I just soldier through

There’s nothing more debilitating than the dreaded “man cold.”

It's because if I admit that I'm sick, I'm really fricking sick. It happens about once every 5 years. I had a 104* fever last time I was really sick. I get headaches, colds, sinus stuff, etc all year long and never say or do shite about it. My wife's eye twitches and she's popping advils. This is a such a fricking stupid thing invented by women on Facebook. Eta: I don't know any men who keep giant bottles of ibuprofen within arms reach 24/7. Women have a whole damn pill cabinet in their purses all the time. Maybe there are some bitchmade men out there who get bedridden by the common cold, but I don't know any of them.

This. All this.

"I've even felt like my wife should baby me because of it."

I'm sure she respects this about you.

"I'm a man."

Debatable

When I get sick, I basically shut down. I don’t need attention, I just need time alone. I could sleep 23 hrs of the day when I’m sick, and eventually, it passes and I can resume life.

This needy sick man is a myth perpetuated by women who want to feel superior and simultaneously demean men as weak.

I feel kike this is such a bullshite meme.

Women complain about not feeling good way more than men.

Have you ever said you were too sick to frick? Or complained about cramps?

Yeah I didn’t think so. When my calf cramps up during a session, you just keep trucking.

I wouldn’t say I get grumpier or more child-like. I basically just want to lay down and sleep.
