Distraction? Give me a break. If you need to concentrate that hard to hit a damn ball off a tee then why can baseball crowds cheer when a batter is trying to hit a 95 mph fast ball? I take the Happy Gilmore approach to golf if you can’t tell.

I think it has to do with some of the people who are attracted to golf - the over the hill athlete who peaked in high school or others who are not physically fit enough to play another sport that requires more than swinging a stick. Anger management issues abound. Add to that the fact that many of these people have been drinking. Public courses are the worst. If you are on a course where guys take their shirts off, you are bound for a bad experience.

To be fair, these types of players are in the minority but they are the ones who make themselves known. Golf is a relaxing way to spend a few hours outdoors but everyone who plays the game has seen players like I described.

Would you wander onto a basketball court or a baseball diamond when a game is going on? The problem isn't the golfer, it's you.

Yes a distraction. You're the person who talks throughout a movie in the theater.

And if a errant shot would have hit your wife on the head you would be on here complaining about that.

People not playing golf shouldn't be on the freaking course, there is an organization and flow to the course that "lost" people like you screw up.

Like I said in the attitude change after 40 thread, had it been me, I'd have said something to him. I would not have held back.

Wait, you wandered onto a golf course and you’re pissed cause someone told you as much?

I wish you or your kids woulda got smacked by a golf
ball. You’d have been bawling like a stuck goat and karma would’ve been served as it should.

So to summarize OP is a trashdick with zero situational awareness and relies on other men to keep his family safe when he puts them in danger
