If he was so good, how come he didn't wear the belt?

What does this have to do with corona and the fact that it postponed its arrival due to the threat of Joe Burrow?

The way he was booked dictated that if he was champ no one else could be and he didn't need the belt to be a huge star where others did. Pretty simple

He didn't play their political games. The Giant was a straight shooter. Love him or hate him he always told it like it was. A lot of people couldn't handle that.

Andre DID become champ. He beat Hogan and briefly held it. Turns out, though, the fight was rigged and the belt was vacated. The real referee was detained backstage and his evil twin gave Andre a three-count while Hogan's shoulders were off the mat.

I did not make any of that up.

Also, Andre was the biggest wrestler (literally and figuratively) in the world. He didn't NEED a plastic belt to sell himself. Think about this for a minute: Hulk Hogan was a nobody. His career only took off because Andre ALLOWED him to bodyslam the Giant. And "allowed" is exactly the right word. If a 500 pound strong-willed man doesn't want you to pick him up, you will not pick him up, I don't care how strong you are. Hogan needed the Giant and the belt to make his fame. Andre just needed Andre, but he knew he was reaching the end of his run and knew the torch had to be passed while he was still relevant, even if it was a grudging hand-off. Hogan was the lucky recipient.

I don't like wrestling at all, but Andre was just an utterly fascinating person.

He was one of those wrestlers that didn't need the belt...He was a special attraction...that's my theory

Andre was bigger than the sport and didn't need the push.

If The Rock goes back he won't need it either. Cena doe.

Cuz he had other engagements/movies that the other wrestlers did not. so he couldn't dedicate his time completely to the WWF

not a pro wrestling fan, but the only way Hogan was going to beat Andre would be if it was scripted. I mean, look at the size of him. Hogan looks like his kid brother.
