Because she spent money like a drunken sailor. After I cut off her resources, she exacted revenge by fricking a meth head who still lived with his parents. She taught me that you can't turn a whore into a housewife.

I'm leaning towards it. I've bent over backwards to let her career advance at the detriment of mine, moving across country and such.

She left for 2 weeks for work this month and it was me and the kids, it was so nice and happy. I felt like a weight was lifted. As soon as she came home it was like a heavy load put back on my shoulders.

I think she just sucks all the energy out of me.

Getting divorced was the hardest, shittiest thing I’ve been through, but we both seem to be better apart. I’m remarried & have a baby; he has a very more accomplished girlfriend. I genuinely wish him happiness.

So this is the type of guy that falls up in life?

she was cray cray but it didnt show til after getting married

But we agreed that every $1000 spent on divorce would be $10,000 our son wouldn't inherit 40 years from now.

we agreed on all the terms...divorce was about as cheap as it could be.

I couldn’t accept her at her worst so I didn’t deserve her at her best.

Divorces occur for 2 reasons:

1. Difference in sex drives
2. Differences in financial concerns

In that order

My wife wanted one.

The real breaking point was finding out I couldn’t have children. She immediately started looking elsewhere, started dating a new guy before I’d even had time to finish packing, married him as soon as the ink was dry, and had a baby roughly 9 months to the day of our divorce being final.

Most recent gf just dumped me yesterday for similar reasons. I guess I need to find me one of those women who aspire to be a “cool wine aunt”.

Somehow, we both did. It surprised me, too.

If you objectively look back, I'll bet there were plenty of red flags you missed or ignored. Great pussy does that to men. No shame in it, that's just how it is. We have all been there.

I dropped out of LSU so she could keep going bc I could make more money to support us. Once she finished I was going to go back, and finish up my degree.

Long story short.... she was an easy c unt that fricked around. Now she’s 300lbs on the hoof, and I have moved on, and have a great wife, and two amazing daughters.

Best mistake I’ve ever made.

My ex was insane and has an eating disorder she hid from me until after we were married. I finally found out it was a currently an issue when I showed up home from work early one day and caught my 5 month pregnant wife binging and purging. Honestly, you never look at someone the same after that. She pretended to get help, but it never went anywhere because her problems started with her relationship with her mom, which I could write a book on. Eventually I pulled away to protect myself from the utter insanity that finding stashes of food in the house was putting me through, then her lies, gaslighting, manipulation attempts, etc. Then she pulled the plug (which was the best thing that ever happened to me) so she could have more free time with her demons.
