Wife was drunk at 10am ran a red light wrecked the car with both kids in it. I started the process that day.

He refused to get treatment for depression & anxiety for years, strung me along on having kids, and spent the last couple years of our marriage binge drinking at night and sleeping all day. I became his caregiver more than wife. I felt codependently responsible for him.
Getting divorced was the hardest, shittiest thing I’ve been through, but we both seem to be better apart. I’m remarried & have a baby; he has a more accomplished girlfriend. I genuinely wish him happiness.
