You one of those Baws who eats up all the shite your history classes (federal) teach you? And the media?
Everyone in the south was cracking a whip on every plantation. Every person was a complete POS and hated black colored folk, right?
Man, humans are the most gullible species to ever be granted life in the known universe.
My family line comes directly from "MuH slavery" in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
I have colored and French blood in me (like most real Louisiana baws) from the father of my family line marrying a slave--GASPS, oh the horror--then giving her ALL THE RIGHTS to the business.
Guess what she did with it? This colored woman Marie Parie ran the business and kept slaves.
No crack and whip needed. They weren't all treated like shite.
There are fools and suckers born every day and we have the privilege of reading about them here in the OT daily.

The invention of the cotton gin gave Planters hope that cotton could inevitable become quicker and cheaper to produce.
Problem is that outside of Northern textile mills, the Europeans (particularly Britain) could get cotton from other colonies.

What about the 5K years before that time when even white people were turn into slaves. Lets not forget.

Slavery would have gradually ended over next 20 years or so
Doubtful. It took 100 years after slavery was outlawed for most Southern states to even recognize blacks as equal citizens.

Not exactly. The US fought to preserve the Union. The Confederacy fought for independence. The root cause was slavery, but Union soldiers didn't sign up in 1861 to free slaves.
Read the second sentence. The first sentence is facetious.

The south was basically America in the American revolution or trump today
The north was the virtue signaling tyrant cucks

Thats great for your ancestor. As for the slaves, its not like they had many options even if they had permission to leave. Your also ignoring the conditioning associated with slavery. If you are detained and raised a certain way your entire life, you will fear change even if it may better for you. Saying its like Stockholm Syndrome is putting it way too simply.

The south fought for freedom
Freedom from the oppressive federal government

They didn’t. An exit strategy from slavery that would have returned the slaves back to their homelands was in place
What happened to that strategy?

-subjugation of an entire race of people-
I wouldn't go all the way to 'entire'.
You'd be surprised how many free people of color lived in New Orleans during the 1815 Slave Revolt. Many helped quell the revolt before it reached the city..

I think most folks realize that some were treated quite well. But many/most were not.
One example doesn't excuse the practice of people owning other human beings, regardless of how they were treated. I don't care if it's whites owning blacks or blacks owning blacks.

Fact. Louisiana had the most blacks who owned slaves than any other state in the union... Just a FYI.

But the yankees decided we needed to fight a war and have millions die over it.
—-This is wrong on both your points. Where did you go to school?
The South broke away, confiscated US forts and materiel and attacked Ft Sumter.
Millions didn’t die. 618,000 roughly.
So if you’re trying to make a point, please use facts.
PS I was born and raised in LA, family owned slaves back then, so I’m no Yankee.

Northern banks loved the shite outta slavery

Same reason leftists today think welfare is sustainable.....it's easy.

If you honestly don’t understand how slavery became prevalent in the South during the 18th and 19th centuries then you need to go back to your high school history teacher and slap the shite out of them for being a complete failure as a teacher.

Slavery only benefited the owners and was somewhat like a MLM.. in the sense the people on top made all the money and if you were on the bottom there really wasn't any opportunity to gain wealth. Slavery hurt poor whites as well.
Sad that so many on here wont even acknowledge that. Its actually basic economics. It puts downward pressure on wages if you can commision a few slaves from a planter in lieu of hiring white families.
