On a base level its ignorance, but the psychology of common enemy goes much deeper than that.
What baffles me even more is that Hitler was pushing for a blonde hair blue eyes super race but he didn't have blonde hair or blue eyes.

What he suffered and saw his people suffering in WW1 profoundly effected him. Many of the Jewish merchant class were war profiteers and he carried that resentment with him to disastrous effect. Not to mention the Jews were and always had been “the other”, not wholly assimilating into society, therefore they were easy to scapegoat as an out group.

I'm sure he had some biases before, but it's pretty well known he blamed the Jews for selling out Germany after WW1.

He blamed them for Germany losing WW1 and claimed under the Weimar Republic they were infiltrating the German media and academia and pushing Bolshevist ideals and Jewish money was backing the Bolshevist revolutions. He instilled fear of communism and blamed Jews for the communist movement and Germany got behind him due to fear of being overrun by the Bolshevists and USSR.
