The whole state is a swamp isn't it? I mean, I saw Swamp People.

an estuary that produces some of the finest seafood in the world. Pass the fried shrimp please.
And our estuary is almost gone.

Did you get to see it in the 60’s and 70’s ?
The place to find me was in the marsh at Lake Penchant or the barrier islands and the GOM.

Sorry not everyone takes Louisiana history or Louisiana geography in high school
Yikes .. you realize it is geology and not history and geography… and geology does not restrict itself to manmade borders..
We are talking elementary grade education here.

The further you get away from the mouth of the Mississippi River, the cleaner the gulf is.
A little trivia: Ship entering the Mississippi, come in through the Southwest Pass. The New Bridge in Baton Rouge, is 230 miles from the Gulf, most crude ship, take 24 hours to go from the pass to BTR.

Same for Arizona, both good money maker idea and the reason there are none.

I think he actually means why there aren’t any lush white pretty beaches in Louisiana like Destin or Panama City.

Now I go with my friends to Cheniere au Tigre sometimes. We have beaches.
What's the best way to get to Cheniere au Tigre these days? Last I heard the McIlhenny owned canal had silted up and the only real access was from the Gulf side.

Everyone takes geography and learns about the Mississippi river. Some just don't learn good.

I’d that’s true does it mean that New Orleans is a hemorrhoid and Baton Rouge is a polyp?
New Orleans and Baton Rouge are top tier cities when compared to the majority of LA (unfortunately).
