Case closed.

For once I agree with an OP on the OT. Adderall is for fricking pussies.

I have ADD and used to be prescribed something similar to Adderall. I quit cold turkey after school because my parents did not want to pay for it and neither did I.
I definitely needed it for school. For work now, not so much..But I graduated last May, and I am pretty sure 70% of college students "need" that stuff to study.

Ever since quitting (about a year ago), I have found I do not remember simple things as well, such as details from an order the week before and details in emails I should remember from the day before.
I also remember being exhausted in the afternoon on days where I forgot to take my meds.
FWIW I took 50mg of Concerta

Not meth mouth, but it absolutely has psychological effects.

Bc I like to party and have all the people around me on my level.
And save a few for when I party on weeknights or have some really early kid's basketball game or dance recital the next morning.

Seems like all my employees are prescribed to this stuff.

The only people I know who talk shite about adderall are people who were smart enough to go get a prescription themselves.

Because it makes sex awesome

Do you even hippa?
Do you know who the OP is and what company he works for? If he is anonymous here, this has nothing to do with HIPAA.

Doctors are legalized drug dealers/Pushers.

Generally, I agree. But, an employer can be a covered entity. In this case the OP is anonymous, so it doesn't apply here anyway.

B/c lots of people have to blame anything but themselves for any shortcomings and doctors don't give a shite and want to make money.

Wonder how many kids that did these school shootings were on stuff like Adderall?
I've seen it frick people up, they are taking meth.
There are a shite ton of people that take the shite to only concentrate for a test here and there and then there are those that truly have ADD. Im not even getting into ADHD. If you TRULY have ADD then the medication doesnt give you extra energy, make you jittery, etc.
I do actually have ADD and the best way to describe it is to picture 20 tv’s on in your mind and they are on 3-4 different channels. Its someone easy to see who actually has add and who isnt bc their everyday actions arent worlds apart.
On another note, I do have to agree with you that there are a shite ton of people taking ADD medicine that dont truly have ADD. And if you don't have ADD and you are popping adderal through the day I can see why some eventually may go to meth. They were taking a lower dose amphetamine and as with most drug addictions, want something stronger.

Big Pharma is pushing extremely addictive artificially created brain altering pills that are the equivalent of meth on everyone in the country from children to the elderly and the FDA, DEA, FTC, and Congress are happily and willful allowing them to do so without repercussions. It's insane. Absolutely insane.
People are putting little children under 13 on mood altering and brain altering substance instead of just parenting them.
Adults are cramming themselves full of xanex and Prozac and Cymbalta to combat their issues, then popping Adderhol to focus and bring them up then ambien to go to sleep.
But all of these, for 90 something percent of their users are simply treating a symptom and ignoring a cause.
Rather than address why you're unhappy or why you're miserable or why you're overactive or how you can work to change those things, it's easier to just take a handful of pills and go numb and wake up 28 years from now realizing life has passed you by and you can't remember half of it because you were zonked out on prescriptions. You never really enjoyed anything and now you're too old and too fried to care or change it.
They're comparable to taking a constant regimen of advil and blood clot medications to deal with a stab wound instead of removing the knife and stitching the wound.
We live in a sickening time. Between the rise and perceived importance of every single fringe nonsense opinion on social media to the crisis with prescription pills and the complete and total refusal of this country to properly address mental health or proper parenting, we're living through a cultural shift. And we'll either come out the other side in a new age of enlightenment where we learn from our mistakes or we'll spiral into another dark ages.

Girlfriend takes it religiously and it's definitely concerning seeing how different she acts when she's on it versus off it.
