Have these drugs been studied for daily use for over 20/30 years?

There's an interestingly increasing trend happening right now I've read a few articles on where businesses are hiring high GPA grads and finding out they can't do much outside of taking orders and data entry. They can't think creativity. They don't perform unless they're told what to do. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a symptom of the add overdiagnosis epidemic.

It's a new trend but people are beginning to notice.

My wife has ADD, and I always thought it was bullshite until I went grocery shopping with her. It took us 2 hours to get out of the store. That’s when I knew it was legit. She would be fine when she took her vyvanse, but was a mess when she would forget or just not take it. She had to quit taking it when she got pregnant and you can easily see the difference.

What does this mean? And why is it a bad thing? Why are you in such a rush that if someone doesn't attack a trip to the grocery store with military precision you're OK with altering their brain chemistry?

Define "a mess".

This. Blame it on the doctors and drug reps. They are the ones at fault and scratching each other’s backs

If I were President, I'd make addy free and available to everybody.

Unemployment would decline because everyone would find something productive to do. We'd quickly become the most productive and innovative nation on the planet.

If anyone was against free addy, frick 'em, they don't have to take them. They can get left in the rearview while everybody else is making shite happen.

ETA: Plus chicks would be skinnier and hotter.

This couple once told me a story. They went to Vegas and went out that night and had a blast. They took adderall the next night and did the same thing and had 10x more fun. Adderall >>>>

You're a fricking a-hole. Some people actually need it. Sure, some abuse it but by al means lump them into one. You take meds for a headache? Anesthesia for a surgery? Pussy
And no, I don't take it. But you're a premo a-hole. And no one works for your dumb bragging arse.

Because medical ethics are a joke, and a thing of the past. For every new label they can place on some new affliction they ascribe to people there’s a new pill to make money off of, and get you thinking you can’t live or even function without it. Funny how we functioned just fine before we were told something was wrong with us, and we knew we needed it to function in life, huh? This shite was supposed to teach you how to focus, not become a crutch to live off of.

Don’t think it is really that new. I remember professors talking about people that get all As end up doing research but the A/B become the best employees.

I'll tell you as someone that used it in the early parts of his professional career:

It's my prediction that some large studies will come out in the future indicating that an extended use of ADHD stimulants affect the brain's neural nets more than we currently believe. I believe it fundamentally rewires/short circuits portions of the networks, which causes individuals to more "scattered brained" or "fidgety" when they aren't on the substance. I don't know what the long term implications are... perhaps just decreased work productivity? Perhaps depression? etc. If I had it over again, I wouldn't mess with the stuff.

You were abusing it and didn't need it.
