But then how will they calcify our pineal gland and keep people from awakening their third eye?

The horrible truth is social media is desensitizing us. Louis CK talked about this - if a kid tells another kid he’s fat to his face, there’s a number of things that can happen. Punched in the face, ridiculed, etc. But none of that exists when online. Pretty scary.

It's cause weed isn't legalized federally and still considered taboo amongst corporations. It's not okay to tell my boss I smoked a bunch of weed and played video games this past weekend and took .h dog for a walk but it is somehow okay to tell my boss ran up a 100 dollar tab and stumbled home from the bar.

All I know is, I'm mad as hell, and I'm NOT gonna take it anymore.

It seems like people aren't even trying to hide it anymore. I can't fathom wanting someone to die just because they have different views than me.
You've got that backwards, The fact that too many are already on it is part of the problem.

People are doing less and less now, just sitting around playing on the phone or computer. With less and less hobbies people are having to channel their energy to being outraged instead of doing something productive.

It's never just one reason- but many can't accept personal responsibility for their own bad choices, so they blame their bad situation on others.
Sometimes the targets of their rage take offense to being held responsible for things they never did, and respond with anger of their own.
And the media- all forms of it- continuously stokes this fire.

My guess is, that in today’s world the majority of people don’t have anything that they really care or are passionate about.
People without something meaningful to care about, end up caring too much about things that are meaningless

Its politically expedient. The powers that be are stoking the flames.

In the source you used this is the example it gave
"a self-confessed con artist and charlatan"
That is actually the example in every dictionary I could find.
This is the origin of it.
Origin
Early 17th century (denoting an itinerant seller of supposed remedies): from French, from Italian ciarlatano, from ciarlare ‘to babble
In French it means a trickster or quack. I would assume someone who is a charlatan is is a con artist/snake oil salesman before I think they are lying to look smart.

Half of society understands that death comes to us all and that a flu is being politically pimped out as something that it is not.
Half of society believes everything msm tells them and refuse to accept that death is a part of life.
It's been going on since the beginning of time.

there are multiple factors but the biggest I see with the under 40 crowd is we've become a land of expecting equal outcomes instead of expecting equal opportunities.

For most of human history, humanity has struggled to exist.
-Diseases and illnesses. We make jokes about diseases and illnesses (like diarrhea) that were serious business and killed many people. 150 years ago you got the squirts, there was a chance you were going to die. The bacteria that caused the Black Death can now be killed with a z-pack.
-Food insecurity. 99% of humanity's existence has been a day-by-day search for food. Now food sits on shelves waiting for us. We have so much food that our 'poor' are fat.
We have no real struggles, so we make up struggles in our minds to fill that void.
