people in this thread are acting like native american communities dont have a real issue with regards to violent crime and that just isnt true. its a significant issue. specifially rape and other kinds of aggravated assaults

like more than 1/3 of all women living on a reservation will be raped and you are like 3x more likely to be involved in an aggravated robbery if you live on a reservation
But they don't shoot each other, because their culture values life and family.

It was sarcasm. Making fun of the half dozen people who said it before and sincerely meant it.

There is no such thing as "their culture." "They" aren't one group.

You need to be specific. Which reservations?

In AK, the risk is even higher. Women in villages get pummeled. Its a sad life.

There’s a handful of reservations that skew these numbers. Rosebud is one for example.

Plenty of similar violent crime that gets handled by the internal reservation police. Makes sense it wouldn't all get reported.

Good question. I don’t know but am curious myself. Some critical differences:

Population 5mln NA vs 46mln AA

Location Most NA in SW US in rural land

Reservation availability to NA including Income earned on reservations exempt from Fed n State income taxes

Curious if NA experience racial tensions in same way or different. Population size and scarcity outside SW US being big difference. I know no NAs.

Not compared to most reservations. Chicago police don't stop people on the way into Cook County and take their weapons.

LOL if you think half the reservations out there have any enforced regulations.

Trying to get most of them to do literally anything with tobacco was like pulling teeth.

Got to pander to the 13%

Liberals do not care about African Americans. They were owned by democrats until 1865. It took a few years for democrats to conjure up a way to use them for their purpose. Power!

You're suggesting many Native American youths don't listen to rap and dress in an urban manner? That's ridiculous.

Yes they do share commonalities. If their can be no differences, then there is no such thing as generalized culture.

BTW, when did you become a woke radical?

"Native American" is a massive generalization for dozens of cultures. The idea of a generalized culture is something people are using in this thread that doesn't exist. You could argue that there is a "Reservation" culture, as reservations clearly have shared problems.
