Why are high rates of shootings in Native American communities not a thing?

Every time high rates of urban violence are brought up and the obvious issues addressed. We are now told its due to lack of jobs, opportunity, education, and bad environment and systemic racism.
I say no place in the country is worse than being poor and in an Indian reservation. Their last few centuries were arguably much worse with less rights. Similar levels of racism ingrained. Yet we don't see the violent levels on par.

Do people really think the term "savage" was just highly-strategic negative-PR?

Because Native Americans value human life, they don't listen to music that glorifies getting peppered with a Mac 10, they don't sag their pants just because prisoners may have been given sagging uniforms, and they are not lazy AF waiting on a handout and being a drain on society. They tend to make good choices which goes back to the deep roots of their culture and value placed on bettering the life of their offspring. I've also never heard of a Native American calling a girl a ho or skeet skeeting them either.

These are all excuses used to cover for a lack of strong family units. There’s no such thing as a universal Native culture, but almost every culture from Crow to EBCI places an extreme value on the family unit.
