Its not boomers, it's how old people have been. Doom and gloom. I recall my boomer mother in the mid to late 90s ranting because all the old folks of my grandfather's gen, the Greatest Generation/WWII, were all watching Fox News and hooked on fear.
Old people are just scared of their shadow and the news has mined this for big money and ratings for decades.
