$2 for extra rice when you get a 20lb bag for $10.
Make your own rice.

Funny. I would think it would be the other way around. Too much rice. Not enough curry.

Depending on which rice they are using most rice comes from right here in the US.
a Chinese restaurant might be using US rice but a Thai restaurant is using Thai jasmine
30% of the domestic consumption is imported with 80% of those imports being Thai Jasmine even though the US can grow perfectly good jasmine here

Dry by out standards. We mostly use Jasmine rice from SE Asia.
Why? the US grows jasmine
All the arguing on the poli board about tariffs and this right here is a perfect example of why they were implemented. And its not a cost issue either - Thai jasmine and US jasmine are similarly priced

Quality isn't the same.
I have tried the Kirkland and other brands that's made in the US. They just end up being so dry in comparison

They are also stingy with extra sauce. TBH, just get a box of sticky rice from COSTCO.

My local Chinese will do. Full to go plate of entree and. Full to go plate full of rice. And I never eat it. I order fried rice and eat that instead.
