I laugh when I drive down S. Ardenwood in BR. Two podunk houses next to each other, one with Trump/MAGA merch and the other with a flag saying “Pro-America, Anti-Trump.” They also have a banner with the stupid “science is real” bullshite. Must be some interesting neighborly interactions.

The problem with rednecks in this scenario is that you won't be living next to one of them. There will be 8 people living in that house and 10 cars in the front yard. Rednecks flock together and are slow to cut the chords that hold them back.
Left wing moonbats on the other hand tend to be the black sheep who flee from any social ties or anyone who disagrees with them. They isolate. So you will only be dealing with one or two of them.
On a personal level, I would much rather deal with a redneck on a one-on-one basis but as a neighbor there's going to be a colony of them embedded next door to you and that completely changes the analysis.

Rednecks…and it is not even close. While I may not agree with liberals, they are usually pretty quiet and reserved in my experience.
I am not one to want to talk about politics every minute of the day.

Agree. We have a family of them near us that moved in a couple of years ago. Loud, shitty vehicles. Mow the yard about 4 times a year. Never seen without a cigarette in mouth. Bushes never trimmed. Holiday lights up all year, except when knocked loose by a storm. When their mailbox toppled, it took about two weeks before they “repaired” it. Potted plants grown by former owner died from neglect and sat that way for months. Worst neighbors on the street by far.

Both are pretty bad. Indians (the dots) can be bad neighbors too with all the moaning, just not as bad as the dirty Louisianans that throw trash into the Mississippi

Most hippies are pretty easy going and usually pretty good neighbors. Kind of odd at times, but they keep to themselves and don't get out of hand - usually.
My biggest complaint against rednecks is when they park their cars/trucks on the lawn. I'm not sure you can pigeon hole any of them.
