I will admit that I thought it would be worse than it is by now, but let’s just get this out of the way how many dead until it counts as bad. My number is 300-500k. If we have less deaths than that it will not be as bad as I thought

Just wondering. What is your stance exactly. Do you think we should have paid no attention to this thing at all when it came over. Do you think we shouldnt have closed schools, sports leagues, and concerts?
Or are you just against the stay-at-home orders which closed down most businesses. Im just wondering so I can better understand where youre coming from.

False. Trump was 100% wrong in doing what he did.
Is it really the wrong decision when all of the people who think it was wrong won't hesitate to vote for him again?
If anything people like you have proven it was the right move, politically speaking. Congrats.

That isn't what I said. If you treat 38k deaths as no big deal because you can't provide for your family, you're a selfish a-hole.
He never said that. He said people who are struggling to provide for their family because politicians shut down their job are more concerned about not having their family starve than people they don’t know dying.
It’s possible to think this virus is deadly to old people and people with underlying conditions (particularly respiratory), that the economy should never have been shut down, and that social media and the news media have over blown a lot of this.

I was right. It’s not that bad.

But how many is a big deal?
The prospect of approaching 1% of the population.

Meh. Nobody's perfect. But the spirit of what I said is still accurate. Whether the number is 100 or 100,000...there was absolutely no reason for us to cut off our heads to cure a nosebleed.
I still dont understand the self praise of those who saw little potential threat months ago.
The data out of China could not be trusted. The models our leaders were trusting was wrong. Testing in our country has been inadequate and continues to be. You had a hunch and it looks looks like you will be proven more right than wrong but it wasnt based on anything more than a guess. Or was there some inside knowledge that you had that the president wasnt privy to?

Who’s willing to admit they were wrong?
And the virus really isn’t that bad?
its like TDS, they cant admit the truth ever
to do so would mean they have to acknowledge how stupid and gullible they were to go along with it despite all evidence showing it was an insane over reaction being used as a power grab

Using the info and data in hand at the time, they made the best overall decision that could be made for the U.S. population.
It wasn't popular and it wasn't painless, but it worked. Slowed the inertia this bug had and kept alot of people out of the hospitals and morgues. If folks don't/can't comprehend this, then they are pretty dense in the cabeza.
Through times in our country's history many have sacrificed much more than few paychecks for the greater good.
Maybe some of you need to be reminded of that fact.

When it all comes to light this will still be the biggest overreaction in world history. Period.
