Spin off from the other thread:

We get there Sunday the 27th. Staying at the wilderness place. Anybody want to have a meet and greet?

For heaven’s sake, don’t wear your Mardi Gras shirt and beads.
I told my wife we either stay in LA and celebrate MG or we go to Disney World sans beads and MG shirts.

I wonder if they make king cake flavored turkey legs for the people in the motorized scooters?

We went in 2018 during Mardi Gras……it was fricking miserable. The crowds were only slightly off peak numbers and since then Disney travel agents are considering Mardi Gras in peak season when it come to crowd size.

I couldn’t imagine going through that at triple the price we paid plus the mask bullshite….it’s a hell no for me.

ETA although I guess price increases and COVID may decrease the crowd size. Still a no with me with masks.

NO such thing as off peak anymore.

Your choices are bad and worse.

Maybe a week in the middle of September and the week after Thanksgiving you could consider a low crowd time but even that is not what it used to be.

Disney keeps cutting things, and keeps raising prices and more and more people keep coming.

It almost seems like an unbreakabke model.

Yup.
The 6 year old doesn’t know we are going yet. The 10&11 year old have counted their savings twice because they want a light saber.

The teen boys are watching all the Star Wars movies again and the oldest can’t wait to ride ratatouille

But I think I’m most excited - even if the husband keeps shaking his head at me

I’ll be there wearing a Mardi Gras shirt on Tuesday. No beads.

Whoever doesn’t like it can meet me here before the park opens.

Fast pass for an arse whooping
