Um, that has literally nothing to do with an antenna.. it’s a fine service, but the person i was responding to was talking about how an antenna is the solution to getting LSU games not on ABC or CBS or locally .. many services will work for that, but an antenna will not .

The amount of people who fail to realize how many people don't live close enough to get channels ota via an antenna and who also don't have high speed Internet to stream boggles my mind. No doubt starlink will solve almost all of those problems but that's pretty much in it's infancy, especially for people living in the sticks who have been fed garbage about this high speed Internet and that high speed option for years.

There was a poll here a while back that proved that most of the posters on TD live in places other than Baton Rouge or South Louisiana .. many even live outside of the U.S…. Obviously most have Louisiana ties, but most of us live outside of the area now .

It wasn’t direct tv. It was Disney. They are the ones pulling this shite.

But keep blaming the provider when Disney does this every year with different providers.

Disney intentionally pulled that shite right before the game so DIRECTV would get flooded with phone calls regarding cancelling to pressure them into signing the ever increasing contracts to air ESPN/abc/disney channels on those providers.

That was fricked up

I have direct tv stream and like it a lot, but pulling abc and ESPN right before the game is BS. Also, have been without NBC for years.

I watched the game at my moms house who has directv. Is this a regional thing for ABC?

I'm actually very, very close to this .
I can't really get any Ota channels, unless I put up like a 50 foot antenna
And I'm just barely in range to get ATTs wonderful Uverse, or their 25 MBs internet service. Just enough to stream YouTube TV for me.

This is the answer.. now that Youtubetv has Sunday Ticket I can’t believe Directv is still in business.. BUT at the same time, all the Disney haters in this thread defending Directv are only doing so for political reasons, it’s all they can ever think about .

I think it’s only ABC/Disney owned affiliates, but they own affiliates in some of the biggest cities; NYC, LA, Chicago, Philadelphia, Houston

They know conservatives love college football so they do this on purpose at the worst times to piss us off and ruin us mentally. Thankfully I now have YouTubetv.
