Who’s asking for these reunions of kids show casts?

Laguna Beach had a reunion.
Boy Meets World has a podcast with some of the cast where all they do is discuss episodes.
Now I see that show California Dreams is doing concerts with the cast.
Seems so weird.

It's not weird. Americans are craving to go back in time when everything was fricking normal. If you look at ads these days, they now have some type of retro feel to it whether a single jingle, old logo* etc.. people want to go back to the 80s to early 2k. That's why all radio stations in America are dominated by old school music now

The show producers grew up with Battle of the Network Stars and endless fill in the blank Family Christmas Special shows. Of course they think this is good content.

The Dawsons Creek one from last year was pretty sad. Michelle Williams organized it and all the proceeds went to cancer research. Van der beek was too sick to go.
