Badass house but you better have a good source of regular income beyond the money to purchase because the utilities and maintenance/upkeep on that house will be outrageous

Sorry it hurts your feelings that not everyone sees things the way you see them. Didn’t know you knew me personally to know where I’ve been or lived.

"ESI is the largest installer in the nation of geosynthetic liner materials for environmental containment applications. We have installed more than 2.5 BILLION square feet (>57,000 acres) of such materials since our company’s founding in 1996. In addition to installing the materials, we also supply them. In fact, we are one of the industry’s largest provider of geomembranes, geocomposites, geotextiles, geocomposite clay liners and related materials."

I wouldn’t buy an 11 dollar house in that abject shithole of a town

Is the Pennington House, at the corner of Bluebonnet and Highland ,still for sale ? At one time it was the most expensive house in the parish.
This one on this post would need a hired person just to go around to change the light bulbs that are burned out.
I have a friend who is the owner of a major business here in town ( I won't provide his name) who owns a large house on Highland.
He holds a yearly Christmas party and last year he told me , "hell there are rooms in this house that I have never gone into".
When is big just too big?

Bigger question is who would build a house like that on a lot on old Perkins. It was built less than ten years ago.
The list of people that can or would buy that house has to be less than a few dozen

You have to be a football coach to afford that place
What a wonderful world! …when society prices football coaches above all.

Same thing is happening with the most expensive beach property on 30-A.

Who would buy an 11 million dollar home in Baton Rouge?
I wonder if Gary’s pad in Galliano/Cut Off exceeds the 7 seven figures.
Update: Lafourche Parish Assessor values his pad at 1.5 million.
