I was about the same age as the characters, so my first big tv crushes were:
Veronica Mars (kristen bell)

Julie Taylor (Amie Teagarden)

Looking back, Amy looks like a child, but I was 14 when season 1 aired, so it makes sense. Not shocking that my high school crush looked and acted sorta like these two characters smashed together in a blender.

Not my first celeb crush (that was probably Catherine Bach/Daisy Duke), but KI was the first one to get me to write a fan letter. She actually wrote back with an autographed headshot - and personalized, not autopen like some others you would get from celebs in those days.

Dawn Wells was the first to catch my eye...

But the teen years in the 70s were helped along by Lynda Carter, the Heathers, Daisy Duke and the Bond ladies.

Righteous Dude,

I can appreciate your post, as the "first" onscreen female to whom I can recall any reaction is also the Baroness von Shletz. I was very happy to find her in Playboy in 1970.

It's a small world. In 1980 I met a woman who was a complete doppelganger for Elke. Also born in 1940 to German parents, she never knew her father, who as a German was deported when the U.S. went to war. She was Elke's first cousin.

Apples don't fall far from the tree - one of Elke's grand-nieces in the quad at LSU looks almost exactly like this.

That slut from Revenge Of The Nerds. Betty Childs... I wanted to hit that so bad with a Darth Vader mask over my face like Lewis Skolnik did. Filthy little slut!

THIS! She is the SOLE reason why I today prefer brunettes over anything else. Fast Times...swimming pool...it broke me! Not to mention I was a ripe 7 year old at the time, but it certainly stuck.

I remember finding a hack for the scrambled spice channel. If you put it on and recorded it on an old vhs tape it would pretty much clear it up, not perfect but pretty darn good. I started recording it and selling the tapes to my neighborhood friends, made some decent money until my parents caught me.
