Ill Central
The Illinois Central was bought by Canadian National about 20 years ago.
There are only 6 Class 1 RRs left in the US. BNSF, UP, NS, CSX, CN, CPKC (they bought KCS a couple of years ago), and Amtrak.

Wait I thought that little house was rumored to be some kind of old man pedophile house from years ago?
Yep, a Catholic school teacher from a school a couple miles away from the camp molested/raped dozens of schoolboys there over the course of about 25 yrs.. was big news circa 1999.. i think he’s still in Angola but the POS was close to getting out a couple yrs back i believe .

Julia Brown - Voodoo Priestess
quote:
But some say that anyone entering the swamp should beware a more supernatural threat—the curse of local voodoo queen Julia Brown. Brown, sometimes also called Julie White or Julia Black, is described in local legend as a voodoo priestess who lived at the edge of the swamp and worked with residents of the town of Frenier. She was known for her charms and her curses, as well as for singing eerie songs with her guitar on her porch. One of the most memorable (and disturbing) went: "One day I’m going to die and take the whole town with me."

Google Street View
If the link is not the right place, pan along Google Maps, the go to Street View.
There is a drive to a park not far from the camp/house location shown. Look up Wetland Watchers Park. Park

Same I always saw that place. Never saw anyone there except one time. It looked like all men and like a meeting place for a hunting group.
