But, the corruption and safety issues have to be solved first.

The unfortunate thing is that the mayor accepts this as part of the norm now. She’s doing whatever she can do get govment money fo funnel back into her pockets before she takes a cush job when she doesn’t get re-elected.

DA and city council are both jokes.

Considering how bad things are it is amazing that Cannizzaro was generally able to do his job. But below is the respect he gets from the Assholes at Gambit. This is the week's cover

They just need a DA who can play the piano again.

Need someone with a background in successfully running a business and I doubt anyone really wants to step up to the plate so residents will continue to vote for who theyre told to vote for and continue to vote on same shite policies that keep the city in an endless cycle.

New Orleans is over. The only thing you can fix is yourself, by packing up and getting the frick out.

In all seriousness, I don't see any credible candidate on the horizon who has a chance to beat her in the next election. If such a person exists I would like to know who it is.

Rudy Giuliani would be great but the natives would never allow it.

One of the main problems is the black political machines(Example-ACORN) that payoff the preachers to get its members to the polls

Who even listens to a preacher about politics? Black folks need to account for this. If it ain’t Jesus, they volume needs to be turned down.

I’ve never been to a black political church, although I have watched Bishop MB Jefferson from Tampa on TV (who has since been in some hot water) because his “hello, somebody” and “C’mon out of here” catchphrases were funny. Do they preach about sin (avoiding drugs, premarital sex, excessive alcohol) as much as they preach politics?
