I honestly think Nagin was the best mayor over the past 30+ years before his “Chocolate City” fiasco.

New Orleans is beyond saving.

Pompeii, Constantinople, the lost city of Atlantis. Add New Orleans to the list.

Rudy G.

He cleaned the mob out of NY.
This should be easy.

They need a Giuliani type in office. The shitshow in NYC between Giuliani—>Bloomberg—> Deblasio needs to happen in NOLA, but in reverse.

Not the same thing. I wouldnt want Republicans in power for a long period of time. Competition is good. In the case of Nola we haven't had a Republican mauor since before Reconstruction

If I vote for you and you win will you agree to put your mentally challenged brother TulaneLSU in a hospital with no access to the Internet?

Pompeii - Volcano

Constantinople- Turks and now as Istanbul a rather dynamic city, and that hurt to write as much as I dislike Turks.

Atlantis - Mythical and sank in to the sea

New Orleans - Fill in the blank

This city had two chances. One was Jimmy Fitzmorris but instead morons chose Moon. Then they had a shot had Pennington got elected but they chose Nagin,

There is no longer any chance for the city. The only good thing is that the arrogant, ignorant, petty, petulant, inept dilettante with hot dog bun feet will expedite the death.

I’d put him in charge of parks and parkways. He’d have graffiti artists documented within a week, and our new chief of nopd, super saint, would have them arrested promptly.

Honest question when was the last time New Orleans elected any Republican to a city level position? Or even had one campaign with a real shot at a city council spot; school board; mayor, etc...

Suzie Haik Terrell and Jay Batt were Republicans in district A after Wilson. Batt was out in 2005, so it has been fifteen years.

Politicians and don’t fix anything.

If the people in NOLA want to fix the city, the first place they need to look is in the mirror.

The mayor is a reflection of the people.
