I have about seven I consistently respect the arguments of. I won't name them, but at least one is one of the most consistently downvoted posters on the board. I actually read what he says before I vote, unlike the legion that clearly DV based on ad hominem. (And by bestie, I'm not implying friends, just people's whose opinions I consider more carefully than others, because they're typically more honest or well though out.)

Probably one of the lurkers/alters that pops in out of the blue to reply to me with a profanity-laden ad hominem post that could seemingly only be fueled by something as sinister as me banging their wife and (legal) daughter on prime-time network TV.

At least I know they care.
