I think the thing to consider here is, does anything posted on TD have significant enough sway to impact an election?
Yes because it got a judge thrown into prison. IYKYK

Reid is a good man. He’s the type of person you’d want to be represented by. He has little to gain to be in a position of influence. He cares about the state and just wants to make it a better place.
His opposition on the other hand…
This is type of situation that people complain about politicians but then vote for the political.

Certainly not nationally. Even locally I don't think so, look who the slimy cock sucking governor is.
Gravy would have sued if local was swayed.

I trust tOT for weather updates and what watch to buy. I assume anyone promoting a particular candidate or political philosophy has an agenda.

Can confirm this. Known him pretty well for a long time. He’s a quirky type, an architect by trade, probably blew his gasket when abject lies were being spread about him.

What happened? Did they toss case?
Dude lost the election, so no reason to keep spending money on a lawsuit. From wiki:

he ran for District 11 in the Louisiana State Senate, but lost to fellow Republican Patrick McMath.

Dude has 14 twitter followers. I'm sure his posts here had as much impact as his tweets.

I just looked at the docket.
The petition was only to investigate a claim and take the depo of TD’s corporate rep.
Case was non-suited about a month after filing. No other filings.

Anti fracker former state senator. Locals tired of him and he lost to a younger guy. Tried to smear his opponent for a DWI while a student at LSU and it didn't stick. His supporters were claiming that the guy was a raging drunk if they saw him have a beer at a political event.
Smug sort of fellow was my take on meeting him once in 2014
