Big baw put a little too much bodyweight into it. Not a slap, imo. More of an open-fist punch. Goes against the spirit of the competition. Don't care for it.

So many questions.
First, why are these two chunks slapping the piss out of each other while there are four guys climbing ropes on the other side of the room? What the hell kind of event is this?
Second, what are the qualifications to be a slap fight referee?
Third, how does one become a slap fight corner man?
Fourth, why are they missing out on the real show here and not having that behemoth with the microphone participating?
Not a question, but the guy getting CTE in that video is wearing a shirt that says "Creating healthier futures". He's doing it wrong.
EDIT: Actually, I think some of those rope climbers are chicks, which begs another question. Why is the entire crowd watching these two plus sized men slap each other when they could be watching fit girls in yoga pants climb rope?
