I would rather unload everything and put it away than going to the grocery store.

OT response: you carry it all in one trip baw? I make it a challenge to carry as many bags as I can in both hands

Mine does, but usually starts unpacking while I get the rest

Our process when the wife comes home with groceries is thus:
1.) When I hear the garage door start to open, I throw some pants on
2.) She carries in two or three bags and starts putting them away
3.) I go outside and He-man all of the remaining bags in one swoop
4.) She carries on to putting away when I put in
5.) I take my pants off and go back to watching football.

When I was kid the routine was mom came home on Friday afternoon from the grocery and she would bring in like one bag, my dad, brother and I would got get the rest.
Mom would get one of us (me or my brother) to help her put the stuff away
My house now...wife goes to the store, brings in a couple bags, me and the boys go get the rest of the groceries. She usually puts them away.

You're wasting precious seconds putting on and taking off pants. It is your garage, not the front yard.
And whether it is from a trip or from shopping, I carry in, she puts away. It may sit there a week before she puts it away, but that doesn't bother me. I did my part. Anything in my way I kick it out of my way, but never put it up. She also prepares for any trips and does the packing for her and the kids. I always hear complaints about how I never help, but I usually say she can skip her wine drinking down the interstate and drive instead. That usually stops it.

I usually carry as much as possible.
The SO disappears in the house and I usually put most of it up, too.

Sounds like you are being relegated to beta status and your SO is sitting there like a boss

Be a man- make her walk behind you.
Be a man- pop her in the arse all the way up the driveway.
These are the correct answers.

Looking for a man to carry in the groceries.

Mine does that but if I let something that simple bother me then I would have buried her in the back yard by now.

If your SO is a woman, she is probably doing way more than you in the house, so suck it up and quit being a dweeb.

^ The answer is this.^
Have a system, one carries and one puts things up but the putter upper takes as much stuff on her/his initial trip.
Learn how to be a manager Baw
If she will not help, kick her in the crack

Man's job to be the pack mule, carry stuff, open doors, fix things, clean yard, etc. may as well take pride in it. Relationship not going well if you are mad about that.

Yep, same here. Good teamwork.

I'd rather fight a dragon than go to the store, so I don't care what happens when it shows up at the house

So OP, you were with the SO when all the shopping was being done? Do you not try to stop SO? Put your foot down like a boss?
Or did you just stand there holding her purse like a little puss?
Just so I've got this straight: you go with her on her damn shopping sprees, but it's the fact she doesn't help you carry her stuff in that gets on your nerves.
How about you just leave your man card with mall security next time.
