You have a car full of stuff that'll take you 5-6 trips to unload at a minimum.
SO might grab a handful of things upon entering the house initially, but never to return to assist unloading, even when 3/4s is their stuff.
Always irks me.

As long as they start putting all the stuff away while I go get more stuff, it's all fair
ETA: OT response: you carry it all in one trip baw? I make it a challenge to carry as many bags as I can in both hands

As long as I don't have to make the actual grocery list or put away the food I am fine with this arrangement.
For car trips, it's always aggravated me a little as I typically do all the driving. However, now that we have a kid it's not a huge deal as she is usually tending to him.

Mine takes her fair share the first trip.
Then she starts opening mail or looking at pictures or something under the guise of putting things away.
She could probably survive on a desert island with a single photo album for entertainment. I have no idea what she's doing with these fricking pictures from 10 years ago.
