My purse was 20 bucks from amazon. I owned a coach bag about 15 years ago and it was only 200 bucks. I am just not into purses.

Throws away breakfast
Okay with buying thousands of dollars worth of purses
No offense man but you seem like an idiot
Once again, no offense intended

I bitch about it but she hits me back with saying my fishing and hunting shite is stupid.
Yup. With me fishing, hunting, and big boy vintage baseball cards. I would really have nothing to stand on if she knew how much I ACTUALLY spend.

Certainly, sir. It's all over where I live.

When we think of living paycheck to paycheck, we often picture those in lower-income brackets struggling to make ends meet. But Goldman Sachs' Retirement Survey and Insights Report challenges that assumption.
Data shows that while 57% of earners with an annual income of $50,000 or less live paycheck to paycheck, 40% of those earning $300,000 or more have found themselves in this cycle. What this reveals is that even high earners aren’t immune to financial strain and underscores the importance of smart money management across all income brackets.
Why Americans Are Living Paycheck to Paycheck Despite $300k Salaries
As income climbs, the number of individuals living paycheck to paycheck drops, but, as noted above, it's still an eye-opening 40% among those earning over $300,000 annually.
But why should someone making more than $300,000 feel financially stretched? As the study notes, earners in this income bracket who are living paycheck to paycheck reported that they fall victim to elevated expenses and lifestyle creep, where once-luxury expenses become expectations, and with that come bigger homes, private schools, luxury cars, and lavish vacations.
Combined with debt burdens, which respondents also noted play a significant role in their financial stress, these competing financial priorities often limit their ability to save and force them to live paycheck to paycheck despite higher incomes.

Let’s be fair. His brother in law woke up at 9am and was late to the shitty breakfast.

For some people, absolutely.
The luxury bag fad is based in insecurity. Its middle class/upper middle driving the popularity, but even ghetto girls have to have them now.
Dirty secret is the Rich like the fake stuff, even they realize the value for luxury bags suck.

The more logos you see, the more it probably costs. And for the most part, women's bags have far more "peacocking" features than men's stuff do from the same brand.
And to be fair to the ladies, the tiny arse little bags men can get into a soccer stadium (cross body, maybe 6x9) in England as a man are $2-3k.

Explains some of this in the video.
Really rich women usually have custom bags and they may not have a logo. The label is for less than rich who want to appear wealthy.

Damier in black is my go to pattern, for the all of two leather goods I've had for 15 years. Even on my "meeting a client for the first time" laptop bag, you don't know it's Louis unless you really pay attention.
I am not rich, but I also won't ever need another wallet until I retire, if then. But that's not what the peacockers want.

Oh, I understand having quality stuff. I just think the "designer labels" arent always what they're billed as. But even those labels probably make some quality and practical stuff, it aint all bad.
The rich can usually tell quality without labels, its the less than rich that need to advertise.

I don’t ask about her purses and she doesn’t ask about my guns

I'm certain if I made like twice what I make now, my wife would just blow it all on crap like a $5k purse.
Hence, I never tell her of any raises I get at work
