Who else’s wife is a luxury purse collector?

I think spending $4K-$7K on a fricking purse is pure stupidity. I think her group of friends try to “out purse” each other. She try’s to keep it kinda hidden from me but I do go in her closet about twice a year to count the boxes.
Before marrying her I didn’t know a Prada purse from a Walmart purse. Now I find myself looking at every woman’s purse when they walk by. Especially in church when they wear the Sunday purse. I always nudge my wife when I see a high end purse and she knows now to give me a nod for real or fake.
I bitch about it but she hits me back with saying my fishing and hunting shite is stupid.

Didn’t your son in law kick your arse or something?

Must be comforting that your wife needs validation through a fricking handbag made in Bangladesh by 10-year-olds and not your love

Sounds like you need to lower her allowance.

You’re mixing up the time I dumped my brother in law’s Christmas breakfast in the trash.

Questions are always going to be:
1. Can she afford it? If its not putting you into debt/its her money then she should be able to spend it as she sees fit.
2. How much do you spend on your hobbies? Is it comparable?
I will say there's something to be said for a quality made purse. I don't carry anything that expensive but it is nice to have a well made, leather bag or two.

She makes about the same as I do. It’s her money but I think it’s stupid

She'll outgrow it when she realizes that anyone who judges her on her type of purse can go F themselves.
The wealthiest people I know don't feel a need to show it off.

I hate to break it to you- but $4-7k isn’t really a luxury purse.
Do you even mini Kelly, bro?

100% a litmus test. Vapid and shallow people need something to buy, I suppose.
Even ghetto queens have them.

the Sunday purse.
I don’t even bring a purse to church unless it’s necessary - and then I try to jam everything in a wristlet.

Just give me a nice clutch to keep the essentials in.

Before I smite you, and I will regardless, whose money is being spent here? What's the earning ratio in this nightmare of a marriage?

My ex gf was. It was the stupidest thing. She would go to the Reddit community where you can find contacts for Chinese sellers and buy fake ones every few months. I now just assume most of them I see are fake because who is going to pay that much for a damn bag.

We talked about it before, just thought I would follow up.
My girl got in Harvard, and will owe no money. Her "alumni scholarship" covers 99k per year.
They are first class all the way. Its kind of crazy how it all came together.
