Who does the laundry in your household?

Is it a shared duty, or does one of you normally take care of it? It seems like more and more men take part in this now compared to the past. I have a buddy who does the laundry at his house whenever he’s off of work. It seems to work well for them.

But also shared between us a lot and sometimes the housekeepers will fold if there’s a load in the dryer when they show up to clean the house.

I do it every now and then when I’m sick of the wife half assing it. She’ll literally leave clean clothes in every spot except where they go.

I do mine, she does hers. Usually whoever is doing their own will also do NillaWafers if her dirty clothes basket is full.

The SO went on a diatribe about laundry duties to me one night when I was really drunk. She then proceeded to go out with friends.
She returned home at 3AM with a pile of laundry sitting in the shower running full blast.

Yeah, mine will let them pile up until I can't find underwear or socks and then I'll have to go in there and do them all. She doesn't understand that doing the laundry is not just putting clothes in the washer and dryer. I'm retarded and can do that part.

I do. I try to help out as much as possible around the house. The outside is mine, we split the dishes, and I never have to make dinner.
Is there an easier chore? I throw it in, switch to dry, and then watch tv while I hang up or fold.

It is probably 75/25 me in our house. She ya does most everything else.’
