re: "Whiteness is Violence" - in Portland, which is 76% white

It’s true. White males make up 6 percent of the population and commit 53% of murders. Somalia, South Africa, and Jamaica are beacons of peace and prosperity vs dangerous slums like Sweden, Iceland and Denmark.
I know it’s true because I read it on twitter from a green haired neutral- gendered Berkeley graduate that grew up in a 99% homogeneously white town.

I tried to explain to a fairly woke family member the other day that black males commit violent crimes at 5-7x the rate of white males and therefore tend to have more run ins with police on average.

She was adamant that it was not accurate. I might have been low balling it

WTF? Does she not follow any Baton Rouge news site? I live in Shreveport, so I’m not exactly up on the crime rate in BR. But I’m guessing it’s similar to here. There are shootings damn near every night. And you can almost predict the neighborhood(s) it’s in before it’s mentioned.

But then again, we have a lone wolf reporter that does his own thing on FB and doesn’t work for any news outlet. Dudes got such good credibility with the on scene cops that he always gets the info on what’s going on. His name is Timmy Lane. He’s gotten so quick on getting the real story out that he’s made the local news stations to start reporting more of the truth about crime.

I don't know if she gets her news from SJWs on Twitter or what. Early/mid 20s. BR has a top 5-7 murder rate in the country and it's 98% black on black crime most years.

Can assure you they have not yet seen white violence.

There are more asians in Portland than blacks.

I never heard of this woman until I listened to her on Bret Weinstein's podcast, but her name is Nancy Rommelmann, I started a thread about it several days ago, but she said she was in Portland in December (before the pandemic, before the civil unrest, etc) and that there was something that felt uneasy about it. There were bars she used to go to when she would go there that went out of business. She said there was an edge to it.

The pandemic hit, all of these college ages kids can't go to school, everything shut down. The the George Floyd thing happened. That just gave them a reason to be pissed about something.

What they doing in Portland has little to do with BLN. That gives them something to get behind, but its just a bunch of angry white liberals.

I posted this video the other day, its a Portland native (black dude) who confronts non local antifa and BLM protesters.

While the dude seemed to be a little out there, they are looking at him in complete shock like "but we are with you man. We understand. Why are you mad at us?".

Portland is just a whole different situation.
