This will continue to be a bad deal for South Africa. They have major infrastructure issues, are facing a water and food shortage and the crime rate is out of control.

They said either Capetown or Johannesburg (can't remember which) was supposed to run out of fresh water several months ago and it sounds like that didn't happen. But, it does sound like they're sort of teetering on the brink.
I assume once they displace all the producers with the knowledge to keep the place running, it'll come tumbling down shortly
