Sucks to see what is happening there, but people are definitely not panicking yet. I listen to a number of podcasts to help keep my Afrikaans and people are way more concerned about the petty crime as opposed to an outright genocide.

Are these farmers who aren't concerned or people that live in walled off portions of the cities?
Also, does this decree only pertain to agricultural land or is it all land that whites own?

I'd highly recommend this book to anyone interested in post colonial Africa and where it's headed. This book is authored by a man that lived through the Rhodesia transition to Zimbabwe. It's very insightful and parallels a lot of what is currently happening in South Africa.

Mostly farmers in the country. A lot of my friends live in farming communities way out in the middle of nowhere in the free state. I also have friends in Cape Town, Jburg, and the far NE so I have a good spread of opinions.
A lot of the argument surrounding land seizures concerns the massive commercial farms that have 10’s of thousands of acres. As of now, they arent going after small family farms as they would legitimately have an insurrection if that happened.

Yes I believe it does, however SA is not rhodesia. A war would be catastrophic.

I dont know the demographics off hand but the military and the leadership is full of whites. Also, there are millions of whites theoughout the country, whereas rhodesia whittled down to like 300k toward the end.
Bottom line, there will never be a race war in SA because overall, people get along and are just trying to get by.
Same shite I see here to be honest. The media makes it seem like we are at the brink of war but walking around the city, everyone is poltie, nice, and just wants to get along with their day.
