Ah, I misread, it's 500 or more so 39k counts.
That said, no warning letters? No orders to appear and discuss? No lawyers involved?
People tend - as far as I know - to get warned quite a few times before the guys come with the handcuffs if we are talking about a tax offense. Maybe it is not that way in Tennessee.
I still think we are not being told about some judgment in a court against him he has been ignoring or something like that.

Maybe I don't fully understand the Montana car issue but what's the difference in this and businesses registering in DE, NV, NM etc due to their favorable tax laws?
I think that’s more the legal environment that taxes

He has a history with going to court with TN over some bullshite charges they tried to levy against him and he won. They tried to bully him and he didn't back down and even made videos with millions of views showing how they tried to bully him. They didn't warn him to give him a chance to work it out because they wanted the perp walk of him.

Peak whistlin diesel was putting the Amish carriage tires on the Charger.

A 2 million dollar bond is ridiculous.

Guys like this are why so many people implicitly support prison rape

The best thing about his channel isn't him. It's the guy that builds all his cool stuff. Like Monstermax. The remote control tank. And the life size killdozer.

Good. That asshat destroyed a perfectly good Hilux.

The hilux episode upset me too. He destroyed 3 of them.

The 79 ford was the one I hated to see get destroyed.

So how did he defraud the State of Tennessee? The car was owned by a business in Montana, that is legally filed and can legally own motor vehicles.
Yep. It’s legal and I Georgia is chasing their tail. It amazes me how draconian governments will act over some taxes. Instead of lowering their taxes to compete, they criminally charge people.

I’d take the Russian for a spin ten out of ten times over the Ferrari or any of the vehicles fwiw

The problem for Tennessee is going to be how long it was there before it was destroyed. Most states have a 30 or 90 day requirement. It he destroyed it before that clock ended, then he might beat the rap.
This is not how it works at all

WD needs to sell that land for a profit and set up shop somewhere else.
He's got money and that Tennessee county WANTS IT.
Some government-job fat-fricks with miserable lives jealous as hell they drive a Toyota minivan and this dude out there living the dream.
He got plenty of money. After I left would throw $2m in lawyer fees just to frick with the county.
And hire a goddamn accountant.

I've watched some of his videos and enjoy them, but this doesn't surprise me. He seems pretty dumb and arrogant.

They pay sales taxes on locally bought and used equipment or pay use taxes on equipment bought out of state.
