Which scenario do you predict for mankind?

Option 1.
The Borg.
Perfect marriage of biology and AI
Option 2.
Idiocracy
The continual demise of human intellect and creativity
Personally, I could see civilized countries like Norway and Japan going towards a Borg like existence, while countries like the USA, Mexico and Great Britain would veer more towards option two. Then you've got the third world countries which will probably exactly the same forever.

The anti-vaxxers and anti-GMO crowd will grow and destroy both modern medicine and agriculture. Human race will die out due to disease and famine.

Thats really sad. Many of those houses were once fairly nice. I read somewhere that there were a lot of areas of Detroit that no longer had water or electricity available due to the few people living in some areas, the city could not affort to maintain the areas where only a few people remained. There was an effort by the city to move people to one area and keep it up and let the rest of the city revert back into nature.
