DENHAM SPRINGS — FBI agents spent nearly the entire day Tuesday executing what appeared to be a search warrant at a Denham Springs nonprofit, removing boxes from the business and loading them into a van as agents moved in and out of the building.

The activity unfolded Tuesday morning, May 19, at St. Amant’s DCH on Business Park Avenue. St. Amant’s DCH is a nonprofit organization. DCH stands for Daycare Home Food Program.

UWK witnessed agents carrying boxes out of the building and loading them into a white van parked outside. Multiple people were seen entering and leaving the business throughout the day, including personnel wearing FBI gear, badges and firearms on their sides.

“The FBI is present near Business Park Avenue in Denham Springs conducting court authorized law enforcement activity. There is no threat to public safety,” the agency said in a statement.
