It really bothers yall that NO is an internationally known destination, huh?

Negative ghost rider, I live about a hour and a half from New Orleans and as far as Im concerned thats too close, the place is trash. Heck birds fly upside down over Nola because its not worth shitting on.

Yeah, a lot of women there are obese...but that's NOLA, too.

Sir Charles does seem to prefer those "big ole San Antonio women."

Agree with other who said the areas around San Antonio are better than the city itself. I'd take the area between Austin and San Antonio over anything in any part of Louisiana.

Hill Country > NOLA, swamps and pine trees. That said, I do like NOLA.

SA is OK for a night or two. But NOLA is a major league destination. Hell, I would put Houston, Dallas, Austin and Marfa above SA.

People tend to think history in New Orleans is limited to the French Quarter. There is a lot of history in and around the New Orleans. In New Orleans -there are a lots of historic neighborhoods, not just the vieux carre. -Lots of great museums, old buildings, and attractions Just outside of Nola -A plethora of plantations to choose from. -Lots of old US/Confederate forts -Chalmette battlefield -Isleno Museum

Don't forget the statues.

SA absolutely sucks but it's head and shoulders better than NOLA.
