What history? The French Quarter? lol Who cares? It's all bars and strip clubs. So historical. lmao

The nola haters are so desperate it's pathetic

Only two types of people describe the French quarter like that. Ignorant college kids from somewhere like Ohio and steaming trash too poor to afford to go to a place like Galatoire's. Which are you?

I've lived in NOLA for a long time and have been back hundreds of time. Other than a bike stolen when I was a kid, I've never been the victim of a crime. Neither have any of my friends or family. With that being said, yeah crime is a problem there.

The people saying SA has more history than Nola are trolling or retarted. SA probably cleaner and more family friendly. If you want some night life then Nola is way better. From the museums, plantations, French quarter, cemeteries, etc Nola has tons of great history.

I would pick New Orleans as well. But San Antonio isn't a slouch.

Riverwalk

Alamo

de Pala Asistencia

San Antonio Museum of Art

Market Square

San Antonio Botanical gardens

San Antonio Japense Tea Gardens

Majestic Theatre

San Antonio Zoo and Safari

San Antonio Caverns

Enchanted Springs Ranch

La Villita Arts District

I would say that New Orleans wins in both of these categories...throw in the dining that new Orleans has to offer and there is no contest.

now, you'll need to be pretty careful in planning your trip depending on what your tastes are, as there is a pretty big clash of classy and debauchery in the quarter.

They can't explain why 9 million people visited the city last year and it kills them. LOL

I'd find it hard to believe San Antonio could even attract one million per year

If you want to see history in NO you need to go asap. It will all be gone within the next year.
But once the history is gone the crime will be much better so thats good.

NOLA has the better history and better food scene. It also has the better drinking scene. However Nola has an issue with crime and the fricking homeless. They are fricking everywhere in the god damn city.

If you go to SA once, you won't need to ever go back. Cannot say this about NO. You'll want to go back many more times.

For an adult tourist? How is this even a question?

New Orleans is far and away a more interesting and fun place to visit than San Antonio.
