Fair point but have not lived in Nola since 2010.

I liked San Diego, just not really a great place to live for reasons stated.

Weren't you doing securities auditing, or something of that nature? Did AI get you, or H1B's?

I love the national parks around there it's some of the most beautiful places on this rotating rock. There is so much to see and do.

Portland Maine and Portsmouth New Hampshire was absolutely beautiful and the weather during the summer was the stuff of envy. Never seen so many happy white people in my life. Just walking around not a care in the world.

Food was shite but one of those places is my retirement plan.

I like seasons. Probably Hampshire, Vermont or Maine.

Anywhere? Assuming I didn't have to work and could get high speed Internet, probably a nice villa out in Tuscany.

Depends what you want out of life.

If money is no issue, hard to beat Orange County or San Diego, California.

Unbeatable weather, beautiful people, sane politics… it’s just the best.

I would love to find a place that would not get blazing hot (100 degrees on multiple days) or freezing (single digit temps for multiple days).
