Late 20's and single.

Option 1: Jackson, WY; hunting, skiing/snowboarding, great scenery and wildlife year-round

Option 2: Baton Rouge, LA; I love Baton Rouge. The only thing I don't like is the traffic.

Option 3: Fort Collins, CO; great outdoor activity options, good late night crowd options, and close to family.

ETA: I have job offers in each market, but the environment, cost of living, and proximity to family differ.

Year round would be tough. Hope you have a steady income. I'd live here 9 months out of the year though.

Jackson. You’ll fall in love with that place and never move back.

I love Jackson in the summer, but I don’t know about living there in the winter.

If you're not prepared, it would suck, for sure. If you are, though, then it's awesome.

Expensive to live in Jackson. However posting on OT make you a baller. So go for it. Tell everyone up there hi for me. You gonna hate June thru August. The town grows 10x.

Unless I was relatively wealthy, Ft Collins. If I was relatively wealthy Jackson. That place is expensive. Plus Ft Collins has legal w33dz.

Hell no to Baton Rouge.

For all the fun stuff Jackson. Beautiful place, some of the best snow in the US over the hill in Idaho, great fishing, virtually unlimited hiking, great area if you run or bike, lots of night life. But, it is a very expensive place to have a permanent residence. A lot of the local working population lives in the Victor/Driggs area. The morning and evening traffic on Highway 33 is pretty bad. Avalanches on 33 are common in winter and further muck up traffic. If you can afford to actually live in Jackson it would be my choice of the three options.

While Jackson is really awesome it is waaaaay too expensive to enjoy and the people that are there have major coin and arrogant.
Ft. Collins itself is not great but near some incredible stuff.
