re: Hedge trimmer recommendation - runningdog
I use one for large specimen plants, such as ligustrum, beds of thorny plants, like floribunda roses, and on Carolina jasmine vines I have growing on my pool fence. It is nice to not have an electric cord to worry about. I find the attachment too awkward and heavy for small hedge plantings. ...

re: Anyone else enjoying this College admission scandal a little too much - runningdog
Kinda feel bad for the kids if any really didn't know (doubtful).
How could these idiots not know? This is the classic “it’s not what you know, it’s who you know.” Better yet, rhe game was being played by a bunch of pompous, elitist pricks. I don’t have any sympathy for any of rhe...

re: Fly rod/gear recs? - runningdog
I vote for a five weight. The Douglas DXF 9 foot, five weight is an excellent choice (350~). I recommend a Ross Colorado (300~) reel or the less expensive Ross Animas (190~ on sale now) reel. Line should be 70-90, or so. I would shop eBay for a gently used set up. A six weight is a nice all aroun...

re: Paging FlexDawg... - runningdog
Why not have all the kids you want, then get fixed? I will never understand the average guys reluctance to get snipped. I was single all of my 40s. Getting fixed was a godsend. No more worries about lying bitches, failed condoms or hazy mornings after....

I got a few I can share. Three steps in varying stages of ginger and a brand new son in law, you guessed it - ginger. Merry Christmas. Hope Santa brings you a big deer and a 4 year old bird....

re: Fields who? - runningdog
I don’t think we can say what Fields can do in the future. What we can take from the situation is that he didn’t beat out Fromm this year and he was a distraction. That’s what is disappointing about all of this.
^ this....

re: Fields to Transfer per USA Today - runningdog
Tyson opened the season as a starter, a feat rarely accomplished by a true freshman. He played fairly well but had times when he struggled. He then got replaced as a starter, but he worked hard in practice and still got game time as a back-up. Why didn't he decide to transfer for a starting ...

I can save you 10 pages — one poster melting over and over about how Fields was misused. The same poster also threw in a healthy dose of “I told you.”...

re: Fields to Transfer per USA Today - runningdog
Dude none of this about GA football. It’s about what’s best for Fields. frick all the teammates and friends he made. frick the future of your friends and former teammates by jacking off two days before ESD. Don’t you understand this is about poor, pitiful, underused, super talented and only didn’t get...

re: Fields to Transfer per USA Today - runningdog
This generation is lost on me. The guy ahead of you ran off another 5* who was the f’n starter. You come in, get lots of practice reps and a chance to play, but don’t win the job. If you weren’t willing to risk sitting on the bench for two years, why sign with GA? I don’t really fault Fields for ...

re: Fields to Transfer per USA Today - runningdog
Kirby Smart is there to win ball games, not hold the hand of an 18 year old kid. You come in and compete. You win the job, you play. Are you going to tell your current team, “Well, I’m going to play Fields. We need to see what he can do. We may lose a couple of games, but we will be great next ye...

Offense taken, please go away or just comment on GA recruiting. Otherwise, take it to the generic recruiting board or to the gump board. This is the GA board’s GA recruiting thread. IDGF about Bama or your recruiting class....
