re: Mke Rowe absolutely destroys woman who wants him fired. - runningdog
For too long, at since the infamous Goldwater daisy ad, the right has allowed the left to frame issues in the same manner as this ignorant woman. Rowe, in my opinion, should be emulated by all of us who question the foundation beliefs of the left. My first question would be and is, “platitudes aside...

re: Roundtree medical DQ? - runningdog
We we're lucky to have someone in the Falcon's organization to leak that info. That fax almost got sent to LA.
Where I see Kirby having a major impact is by building relationships throughout the State’s coaching community. I’ve lived in GA towns/small cities for most of my life. It...

re: Roundtree medical DQ? - runningdog
No, but I'll miss him as well. He recruited better then almost any coach, without saying a word to a recruit. DGD and he'll give back. Don't worry about not seeing him around in the future. Class ac
We were unbelievably lucky to have had him for three years. Coach/recruiter doesn...

re: Bigger Melt UGA or Bama??? - runningdog
As a Tech fan, I am envious of your success this year. Do I want UGA to win? Hell no. But you all need to realize that you have to win this right now. Next year is next year and you may not be here again.
It pains me to admit a techie is right. I didn’t expect to be in the Champt...

re: Win or lose on Monday, is this the best team UGA has ever fielded? - runningdog
The 1980 team got lucky in a couple of games. The George Rogers fumble and "Run Lindsey Run" brought us wins when we could easily have lost.
I thought the same thing in making my first post. 80 was magical because of HW and Erk’s defense. Scott Woerner stole the Clemson game. This ...

re: Man, I wish my Dad could see this game, have seen this season - runningdog
He is an old school ex football player and grew to not like Richt because he wasn't tough enough and was too soft on the players (his words not mine) and didn't realize that games were won or lost at the LOS.
Exactly how my Dad felt!...

re: Man, I wish my Dad could see this game, have seen this season - runningdog
Amen. My favorite memory with Dad was watching 4th and dumb at the gator bowl! Later seeing a grown arse bull gator —full regalia, Orange leisure suit, orange and blue Cadillac — slumped over the caddy with a half empty bottle of Jack, crying. God it was beautiful. The rest of you guys can hate wh...

re: Man, I wish my Dad could see this game, have seen this season - runningdog
My Dad was the same. As a kid it was rare to watch a game on TV. It was too far to travel regularly. We travelled to the GT game or to the gator bowl. We listened to Munson on Saturday afternoons whether on a dove field or at the lake. If we lost Dad would get so pissed we all avoided him. I’m th...

Man, I wish my Dad could see this game, have seen this season - runningdog
My Dad passed almost two years ago. He got to see Kirby come home. He didn’t live to see the results. Dad was a quiet sort, but an absolute killer when it came to GA ball. Dad played small college ball and knew the game as only an offensive lineman knows fhe game. The end of the Richt era and the...

re: Merry Christmas from Whitefish, Montana - runningdog
“I'm not even sure what this means” It means he’s never had to unplug the engine heater and drive 40 miles in -20 weather for a gallon of milk. Or, had to prep a winter storm kit for the truck — sleeping bag, chains, shovel, food, water and extra jacket....

I personally liked his posts. He had some pretty strong inside info. I asked Lew to let him back for the Oklahoma game. He is a first class, relentless troll. Monteg can’t do anything in moderation....

re: New car - Audi Q7, Volvo XC90, or BMW X5 ? - runningdog
I’m on my second X5. My wife owns a Lexus RX 350. No comparison. X5 if driving is your thing. RX is more comfortable for shorter distances. I find the stiff BMW seats more comfortable for 100+ mile trips. I don’t get the X5 hate. I’ve never had significant issues with either car....
